Abhiveer Singh ("we," "our," or "us") built Calowee as a free iOS app. This Privacy Policy explains what information Calowee collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

By using Calowee, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Enter Directly

• Food logs: Meal names, calorie counts, and macronutrients (protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sodium, sugar) that you manually enter or confirm within the app. This data is stored locally on your device.
• Workout logs: Exercise type, duration, and calories burned that you record. Stored locally on your device.
• Habit and goal data: Personal fitness habits, water intake targets, and related preferences you configure. Stored locally on your device.

Information Collected Automatically

Calowee does not use third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or usage telemetry.

Health Data (Optional — with Your Explicit Consent)

Calowee can connect to Apple HealthKit to read the following data types, only if you grant permission through the system permission prompt:

• Steps, active energy burned
• Resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), VO₂ max
• Sleep duration and analysis
• Body weight and height

This data is read directly from HealthKit on your device and is never stored on our servers unless you explicitly enable the "Share Health Metrics with AI" setting. When that setting is enabled, a brief anonymized summary of your health trends may be included in AI requests to improve coaching relevance (see Section 2).

Calowee may also write the following data back to HealthKit (with your permission): meal calorie entries, workout sessions, and body weight logs.
